Guess who is a preschooler?!!?

 

  

Since the sign is difficult to read, this is what it looks like :

A couple of weeks  ago my little guy started preschool! He goes 2 days a week for 3 hours a day, and so far he is loving it. It is at a Baptist Church near us and they do chapel, sing praise songs, learn bible stories, etc. He is already coming home telling me things that he learned there!

I am enjoying having a little extra time in my day to run errands, vet appointments, etc.

 

Oh and this is what happens when I ask him to smile. Such a goof ball!

Tonight at dinner he had John and I constantly cracking up, he is such a ham! 

Welcome home daddy, part 2!

Owen was so excited to wear his flight suit to great Daddy when he got back, but with the HOT temps we quickly changed into more NC appropriate 2 year old attire! John enjoyed getting the opportunity to show Owen the airplane up close and personal for the 1st time since Owen was a baby!

Owen was so happy to have his crew mate back!

 

 

Owen even got to pretend he was the pilot for a bit. I kept telling him not to push the buttons because we did not want to mess anything up! haha.I worry like that!

 

 

We are so happy to have Daddy/John home! He has been working hard on our yard (though I must say, I did a pretty good job of it considering I cut it myself in 100 degree weather, planted flowers myself, and tried to do the general upkeep), installing a new dishwasher, steam cleaning the carpets, negotiating for Amy to get a new car (YAH!), etc. Quite busy since he got back on US soil.

But we are so happy to have him back! Especially this little guy!

 

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers we have received this summer! They helped us make it through! :)

As I said before, John got home on Friday after being gone for 4 months (4 LONNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNG) months, and we could not be happier. We had the opportunity to go to his squadron to wait for his plane to land which was SUPER FUN!

And we are once again, a complete family!

I could not be happier to have my husband home. I did not realize how sad I would be without him. I had NO IDEA how hard a deployment would be emotionally. I am so glad to have my best friend back.

And Owen could not be happier to have his Daddy back. He will not let him out of his sight!

John is back home after 4 months away! THANK GOODNESS!!!! As soon as my friend Sarah sends me the pics from the reunion, I will post them.
