What did Owen do while Mommy and Daddy were away????
He went to the fair…
 

Rode a pretend horse.. AND a real horse!
 
Saw lots of cool animals.. (I can’t believe my brave boy is feeding a horse. I won’t even feed a horse!)
 
Went to the Railroad..
 
Did lots of swimming with cousins Bayleigh and Jordan..

Owen had a wonderful vacation while Mommy and Daddy were away. Thank you to John’s parents for taking such great care of him and for giving us so many pictures to see what he was up to!

Our Weekend

We hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Ours was pretty low key. We spent most of our time cleaning the house, doing some hardcore organizing, and of course spending time with our little boy. This little guy has been quite moody lately! I think it is a mixture of the fact he is now 16 months and coming into the time where he has so many emotions and just does not know how to express them all, and he is getting 6 teeth all at once (2 molars, and his 4 eye teeth- making him have a total of 16!).

I call him my bi-polar little baby. Though even when he is throwing a complete fit, he is still VERY sweet and loves to give hugs and kisses. His favorite subject is Maggie Dog! They are best friends!

 

 

He also loves to play with his Daddy. Owen absolutely lights up when John is around. They have such a cute, playful relationship!

We have also found Owen’s favorite meal! John made a rotisserie chicken yesterday and Owen is in love! He had it with string cheese and sweet potatoes. I have never seen Owen eat this much, EVER! I gave him the same meal again today for lunch and he loved it again! He completely cleared his plate both days! We have also completely weaned him off of the bottle which went significantly better than I thought it would. I basically went cold turkey on him. For the first few days he was not drinking enough, but now he is doing much better!
