Owen’s 1st Birthday!

Hi, this is Owen! I had a wonderful first birthday celebration with family and friends!

Mommy made me a bunch of homemade things to help me celebrate. She worked very hard on this birthday banner that we put up in the dining room.

Since the “theme was Winter ONEderland, Mommy made me a cheese ball igloo with olive penguins.

There was a yummy cake and cupcakes (I EVEN GOT TO HAVE ONE!)

        

I got to spend time with my family.

I walked around having a great time!

There was a lot of yummy food.

I got to play with my friends!

I got so many generous gifts!

Then everyone sang to me and Mommy put something weird on my tray…

     

The cupcake was so yummy. I hope Mommy brings me another one soon. I think I catch her sneaking leftovers in the kitchen when she thinks I am not looking. Maybe Daddy will give me another one.

Then I got really hyper! I got to stay up past my bedtime playing with family that was in town!

It was a great day. I am really excited too because Daddy is coming home TOMORROW and I will celebrate my birthday with him too. He has been gone for TOO LONG!
